Mac Installation Guide¶

1. Download zip of Toolbox.¶

First what you want to do is to download Icarus_Toolbox.zip file.
You will need either ARM version for M1 mac or Intel. If you are unsure as to which architecture you have, just download the Intel one and use that.
It will automatically update itself to correct architecture.

2. Unzip the file¶

Can be anywhere, desktop, projects etc.

3. Run file¶

Once you run the file, a small Icarus icon will show up in your task bar at the top next to time and other mac icons.
When you click on it, a new window will open with Toolbox Content.

When you run Toolbox for the first time, give it about 3 minutes to self update/configure.

He will download an up to date version & configure itself in proper location on your system.
He will ask you to restart toolbox when he is ready. The notification will be visible when you open the Toolbox window again.
After the toolbox restart, you can now delete the original Zip and Extraced file from your system. Toolbox should have created a startup shortcut on your desktop that you can use to start it again in future.

Toolbox is checking for updates every 5 minutes by Default. You can change that setting in Options.
The app will always auto update itself to latest version when available.

4. This concludes the instalation of Toolbox.
You can now use it to download other Icarus applications.¶
